Throughout this project, I had friends and family do some User Testing to see how my website is so far and what to fix and improve. I made them browse through the website and see how well they could find information on the website. I feel like I was able to make it easy to navigate for users. I tried to create a simple design but some visual of Yonkers and historical times from the projects. I got a lot of positive feedback when I showed the before and after design. I added more visuals and rearrange the texts so it looked more pleasing and organized.
The client Robert also kept an eye on the website and updated me when he wanted something fix. He informed me about the mobile view wasn’t responsive and didn’t match the desktop version. So I made sure to adjust it so the format didn’t look wonky and the test is more legible.
