Hyper-realism Concept Project for Sustainable Theme
These are my concept ideas for Affordable and Clean Energy.
Concept 1:
To symbolize clean energy, I want to showcase a lightbulb with plants in it. Lightbulb is the energy source and the plants is to show the eco-friendly. The background will be solar panels to show another type of clean energy.

Concept 2:
To show a comparison of clean energy vs Fossil Fuel, the poster will be divided in two sides. One side will represent a clean environment with windmills and solar panels. The other side will represent the pollution that fossil fuel cause with factories.

Concept 3:
To show the negative side of not changing to clean energy, I want to show a fossil fueled factory. That has a skull forming within the smoke.

Based on these 3 concepts I’ve decided to go with concept #2.
It shows the both sides of using clean energy and not using it. It can give viewer a more understanding of what’s the purpose of this sustainable theme. Using renewable clean energy will makes us live in a better environment with less pollution.
Here are my Hyper-Realism Concept sketches:
I did these rough sketches on procreate. I prefer the first composition better it gives the viewer more of a visual idea what’s good and bad for our environment.
ROUGH POSTER COMPOSITE
Here’s my is the rough draft of my poster based on concept sketch #1.

I added images by opening it in a different tab, selecting what I wanted from the those images. Then masking it out and dragging it to the actual poster draft.
I ended up redesigning some of the detail from the image from my original sketch. The placement of the logo and message is more centered to the poster. I made the message bigger so later I can it blend it within the landscapes. Along with the emoji will also be blended in the landscape.
I might end up changing the font/size of the message depending how it starts to look when I start blending.
Rough Draft Attempt #2
I was trying to do something different with my poster but its still a progress. I ended up replacing the most of the images for my poster but kept the same concept sketch.
I also used a QR Code for the website which does make it look neat. I made the emoji faces blend in the background and resized them as well.

Here’s are three TextFace Design for the poster.

The first Image I use Engravers MT with a Vivid Light effect. The font is a bold look and I thought the font colors matches well with the poster image.

The second poster uses the three fonts above. I thought using different fonts makes it more interesting. The Kunstler script will contrast with the other two fonts. Maybe making it more eye-catching.

The third Image uses the Agency FB font for a simple look. I gave it a blue highlight so the text is more readable.

These are the colors I’ve chosen. I wanted to choose colors that matches with the poster well.
Attempt #3
So I listen to my professor’s advice and I went with the Agency FB Font for the poster. While also rewording the message so it isn’t so crowded.

Final Design

Here’s my final design for my Sustainable Theme Poster. I think my final design showcase the pros of Clean Energy and a clear comparison of what’s better for the environment. Everything just blend together towards the end and had lots of improvement from the original draft.
